Studio photos

Studio photos

Here are a few of the images from my studio session I have selected. I have chosen these because I think the poses and the composition of the photos are the best out of all the images. For these I used a small white umbrella to create a softer light, I also used a black background and white reflectors each side. I am please with most of the images I took today, I found it hard to direct the model to the poses I wanted her to do, after a few shots the ideas ran out, to improve on this I will study different beauty shots to get a better idea for the composition. I want to include the models hand in one of the images, I think including other areas of the body like hands or feet, makes the image feel more casual and unstaged. These girls I used for my models where good at taking direction, they were confident in front of the camera which made it easy for me to get a better shot, relaxation is the key. In some of the images I can see an uneasy look on their faces, this is because I hadn't told them that to do, when I directed them they relaxed and started tome more freely, creating  better shot. With a bit of retouching,

This is one of the images I have retouched using a phone app I have called facetune, I didn't change her face or the structure of her face, I removed any imperfections and blemishes from her, and I think I have ended up with a good outcome. I like this pose and I think I will use as one of my final shots for my assessment.
