Images that inspire me
These images are from a photo album I have. They are of my grandparents and one of my foster sister.
This is a picture of my grandmother (left) and her friend, it is one of my favourite picture from this collection. I love the fashion from this time, the hair on my grandmother is very beautiful and ties in with my project 'NewElizabethans.' It is interesting how fashion changes and comes around again and agin, these skirts and leather jackets have been in fashion recently. I love this shot because the photographer has been able to capture the scene at just the right time; my grandmother is feeding the birds and the bird has come onto her hand. This has inspired me to practice other shots, and experiment outside the studio to see what will come out.
I have chosen this image because it shows a very elegant photo of my grandmothers side profile. This is one of the shots I want to experiment with and practice for my three final beauty shots.
This is another good shot, face on. I have thought about including the hands into one of my shots, I won't cover or take the attention away from the face and makeup, but if I include the hands I will prepare the nails and decorate with nail varnish to create a pretty beauty shot.
